Flat Stanley comes to live with The Olivers

I am Flat Stanley. Not just any Flat Stanley, but Jack Lindley's Flat Stanley. This is my story. I started my journey in Amarillo, Texas, US. Jack put me in an envelope and sent me off to live with his uncle, aunt, and cousins who are on expat assignment in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. His uncle works for Chevron and they sent me through the "pouch mail". That means I went in the US mail to San Ramon, California to a Chevron location and from there I flew to Perth with the rest of the company mail and landed in Scott's mailbox on February 26. Scott works on the 37th floor of the QV1 building so my first glimpse of Perth was from very high. The view of the Swan River was awesome.

Scott told me he often sees dolphins frolicking around between the ferries and sailboats. I was a bit jet lagged after my journey so I laid around in his office staring at the view until time to go home.

We rode the bus home and there I met Cheryl, Erin, and Kinsey. They have quite an adventure planned for me and I can't wait to start. After sleeping for a couple of hours!
